I am leaving teaching at the end of this school year. It is time. I am waiting and watching as I move from one realm to the next, whatever it may end up being.

Looking and hoping for new opportunity. I am trying the regular life, but miss the seasonal so bad.

Aggie, will you be in Denali this summer?  I'm thinking about applying but have never taken a seasonal job away from home.

Anyone going to Denali?  I'll be in the visitor's center :-)

That is really exciting. I am looking forward to a time when I may be able to do that as well.

I am just under 2 years out before I can stop what I am doing and move on to the next phase. I am looking forward to it.

I am patiently waiting for August 1st of 2013 for my paltry early SS. I will then work my way back to the Western States where it seems most of the seaonal jobs are.

Keith, Thanks, I found the box, but when I type the words nothing happens.I mean the words are there they just will not go on the main chat page, and what's the smile icon for?

Mary...there is a small rectangle under the bigger box where you read what people have entered. Just click in there and type what you want to say. I find it easier for some reason if you do it from the 'view chat' page rather than the homepage. Hope that helps.

Question,How do I get on the chat line? Do I need an account?
