Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

Hi Guys,,,,I am about to embark on my adventure hopefully....My biggest concern is housing, and the idea of a roommate, at least at this point, doesn't thrill me. I have been weeding through the sites, and almost all are dormitory or roommate housing. I don't mind sharing a condo, but would really prefer private bed and bath. I am free to travel ANYWHERE and do anything I am qualified to do. Any input would be much appreciated on that note, or any other. Thanks.

Hi Debbie, I am so glad you posted this, as I feel the same way. The biggest obstacle for me in finding an adventure is a place that I can take my pets - I would not leave them for a season.  A private room might work.  I will be watching to see what others suggest.

I have exactly the very same issues. My pets keep me from embarking on a great adventure as one of those posted in here. I have a B.S. in Travel/Tourism/Hospitality and would love to utilize my expertise.

I am with you there too. I have my 2 dogs. I was thinking that it would have to be an RV type situation. I may be looking at an adventure in the next 2-3 years...no longer than 5, I'm thinking!

Just signing back in after another wonderful summer in one of the national parks.
Sorry to say that I have never heard of any concessionaire allowing private rooms unless you are a department manager. They do not allow pets in company housing. You will need to look into getting yourself a camper (trailer or RV). I travel with my dog and cat in an RV.
Good luck with this new way of life--I love it!!

most place is going to required you to have an roommate unless your in management  or a couple.those are they only way you have an private room or bath and cj is right most places wont let you have pets unless you have an camper,I've been doing this since 2003
