I have been contacted by CBS in the San Francisco Bay area who is looking to interview a local on the challenges of “Baby Boomers" who were poised to retire (or did retire), but have found they have had to change their plans due to the economy. They are looking for people in the Bay Area and will be including an interview with a career coach and/or financial advisor in the story as well who they'll ask to offer guidance and advice to the folks who take part in the piece.

If you are interested email me at artkoff@rcn.com and I will put you in touch. The deadline is Monday 3/2 and scheduling the interviews will be mid-next week.

Lani - I worked at Glacier Park Lodge (East) two seasons for GPI, and worked two seasons as a gate ranger at the west entrance. Apgar Motel is right on the Lake, very beautiful. both have their pros and cons. West Glacier is a great little area, and the park is amazing. You will probably enjoy it tremendously. f you need more specifics contact me at champ12127@aol.com. Enjoy.

Mo - I worked in Glacier 4 summers, two at East Glacier Lodge. One of my favorite places. The housing is not very good - you don't say if you're male or female in your profile - if female there is a dorm called Blackfoot, although we called it menopause manor. Old, rustic, but if you get to know the other ladies there it will be fun. Any other info contact me direct - champ12127@aol.com and I'll try to answer your questions.

I was just hired to work either the West Glacier or Apgar Motel front desk. Has anyone else worked there or is anyone going to Glacier for the summer? I need to find some hiking partners ;)

Hi Joseph,

I hiked through there in 2001. What jobs have you been doing at Crater Lake?

What is the housing like?
