Does Ecologix even work?

With the waste I've seen, I wonder if the land fills have been filled up more than what we've been told, especially with the amount of food and plastic thrown away that wasn't recycable even if it…Continue

My application is in the review stage for South Rim Grand Canyon. I always wanted to be at Grand Canyon Village. I worked North Rim and four times up in Alaska and West Texas Big Bend and Walt Disney World. I want to work South Rim more than a year. Year round.

I worked at the Canyon on the south rim. I was there for almost a year and I have to say I hated it. Management is horrible, housing is not that good. It was just all around bad.

Hey, well I worked at Mt. Rushmore in 2011, could have went back in 2012, vehicle trouble, invited back for 2013. The Best place ever, great people,HR, dorms are one the better, and of course EDR(just happen to work EDR) i have to say for Xanterra property , treated very well. It is smaller so I think that makes a diff. Worked South Rim aft. Rushmore, winter have to say Hated It, lasted 3 months. Also remember it is a year round park. Any questions on Rushmore glad to answer, loved SD, lots to do and see...

Advice that I've heard on both xanterra properties DON'T stay long.

A lot of people that I know aren't coming back.

any other newbies up at the Canyon?  Any more experienced up there with comments or suggestions?

Lord I'd love to have a pet, but dang dorm rules won't allow it!

Heck I'd even take a cat at this point!

Strangest thing is that some people have been told to not stay here very long, something that I heard up in Wyoming, but hardly ever down here.

Anyone wanting to work here- I'll give the same advice- LEAVE.

Otherwise you'll wake up one day and wonder "Why am I still here?" if it isn't what you planned to do. . .
