Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

I was wondering if anyone has ever worked for Amazon during the holiday season or where planning on doing it.  If so do you have any advice  for people who are thinking about it?

Did 2012 in Campbellsville, KY. It was OK but you had better have feet of steel. I was a picked so you are walking 10 hrs a day. You have a 30 min lunch break but that includes the walk from wherever you are working to your assigned breakroom which could mean you are in Bldg. A and breakroom is in Bldg. C. This is about 2 football fields away. If you don't mind standing then some say packing is not too bad.
I have found the sugar beet harvest easier even if you are standing out in the cold --better $$; shorter work commitment but it is 12 hrs a day so you end up praying for rain outs so you can get to the store to buy food and wash clothes.
