I was wondering what kind of an RV everyone has? I have a 1994 Rexhall Aerbus 3300.

One of the options I put down for my wife and I was a campground position whihc might be more likely to have an RV spot. Don't know that for sure.

Coly, what they didn't tell you was they try to hire two people that live in one camper also.  That way they can get more employees for less room.  (Just my opinion)

I applied for a job at Yellowstone for this Summer and I never got a call back so I called them. They told me that because I requested an RV spot and that the RV spots were usually reserved for managers that they could not offer me a job. Theyt did say that if I wanted to live in employee housing they would take another look at my application. I actually find there story hard to believe because when I worked there in 1997 there were plenty of employees That had a spot for their RV.

We are in the process of buying an RV and have applied to Xantera for jobs in Yellowstone for the summer  of 2012. Any comments on the best place to live in an RV in YNP?

I worked in Grant Village which is on Yellowstone Lake but I did not own a RV at the time. There were two places at Grant for employee RVs one in the parking lot and the other one was down the road not far from Grayling Dorm. I believe they had water, elecric and sewer hookups but do not believe they had cable hook up but that may have changed.

Has anyone stayed in the employee RV park on Yellowstone Lake?  Any feedback?

Someone was asking about RVing with cats.  As long as they don't charge the door when you come and go, it should be fine.  Our trailer is only 28 ft long and we took our 6 year old cat with us to FL for a week and she was fine.  It was her first trip and she preferred riding in the camper as opposed to being put in her carrier and riding in the truck with us.

Just joining, but been workamping since '99.  Still workamping, but only in the summer.  We have worked national parks, private campgrounds, corporate companies, ex:Target and gift stores.
