Hey all! My name is Erin. I'm new to the group. I've been working as a wrangler on and off since I was about 14 years old. I spent my last two summers in Yellowstone National Park and just returned from a winter working at Sombrero Stables at Snow Mountain Ranch. I will be spending my third (and possibly last) summer in Yellowstone. I am planning on buying my wrangler horse from there, but before I do, I am trying to find ranches that allow personal horses. I know I can bring him to Snow Mountain Ranch, but I do not think I will be returning. It's a little bit too cold for me :P I would love to work in Arizona! If anyone knows of a place, that would be wonderful :)

Britta B, Sombrero Stables, Snow Mountain Ranch, Granby Colorado, has positions opened year round, they have a website, that list all the sombrero stables, but snow mtn is only year long

Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anyone knows of any full-time year round employment in MT, WY, ID, CO?  Thank you.

I worked at the Laramie River Ranch this past summer as a wrangler and have already given my word to return next summer. Did anyone else in this group work as a wrangler this past season? How was your experience? :)

Hey y'all....beginner's questions--do you see many ranches that hire couples? And what is y'alls experience w/ places that hire full time/year round vs. seasonal? Thanks!!

Thanks Shannan, I can't wait to get out there. I worked out in Colorado last yr and have never been to Wyoming but it looks so amazing I just can't wait.
