HELLO this is a message to all the people interested in Volunteering in India, for the Tibetean community. I have seen comments of people that recomend volunteertibet.org. But this page is no longer the official one. I am currently working with the organization helping them get through this message since they had some security issues and they have changed the domain to www.volunteertibet.org.in.

here is the Official message:
This letter is to inform you that Volunteer Tibet will no longer be using the website “volunteertibet.org” as we have been experiencing security problems with the site. Additionally, Mr. Brick Thornton is no longer a representative of our organization so please update your contact information for us. Our new website is www.volunteertibet.org.in. Please take a moment to check it out as we’ve updated it recently. What ever contains in old website volunteertibet.org is not eligible

Please disregard any emails that do not come from me, onpoLobsang or bellow our email address. As I explained, and very unfortunately, a gentleman name Brick Throton has been emailing volunteers and misleading them. This is because he had a falling out with our organization and our board had him removed. Unfortunately, he has the password for our old website and continues to use it as his own - causing great confusion. This is why we have had to change our website to volunteertibet.org.in. My sincere apologies for the confusion

Anyone out there every worked/lived in Australia?

I was looking into working farms over there before I decided to work at Yellowstone this summer. I found this website with a lot of information but wanted to hear some first hand experiences.

What about hospitality or other jobs?

Hi... I've been in India 7 of the last 8 years. There is a website for volunteer positions, some of these provide room and food as long as you can get here. It's a good way to learn the culture. If interested go to www.volunteer-tibet.org
Also, I've posted two photos to this coolworks site... and I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone might have about my experiences in Asia.
