Hey guys! I'll be working as a guest service agent starting in July. This is my first time at olde yeller so I'm very excited. Haven't been assigned to a facility yet. I hope to spend an amazing summer at the park and to meet many of you!
I created a little message board us to share in so we'll have another venue besides this awesome site. Please check out at:

Hope you all are having a great summer at Yellowstone or wherever you are. :)
Comment by Zach Strube on Tuesday Hey I am from Wisconsin and am staying in Roosevelt starting june 2. Who is all staying in Roosevelt?
Comment by Marsha on May 7, 2012 at 1:20pm I'm heading out to Yellowstone next week. I'll be at Grant for my first summer with the park. :)
Eric (and others), the housing is actually not shown in that photo. There are employee dorms and cabins (and the pub!) behind the Lake Lodge, and there's employee dorms and an RV park for employees north of the Lake Hotel.
If you look at the entire complex, you can see these on the map. Aside from the Hotel and its cabins and the Lodge and its cabins, there's an area where the Lake Clinic and its personnel, and the old Fish Hatchery is located (now used by the Fish and Aquatic Sciences Division of the park's biology staff). You can find a close-in map of the area and photographs of the dorms HERE.

I hope to have a great summer and meet many people from all over, my 30th birthday is May 4th and I'm looking forward to celebrating it in a beautiful place with new friends!

Actually, Mammoth is one of the warmer locations in the park, since it is at one of the lower elevations, but it rarely gets terribly warm there (usually no more than the mid-80s). Most of the dorms at Mammoth were built in the 1930s, except for the Aspen which was built in 1978 (and renovated last summer). You can find pictures of most of the dorms at:
