canyon lodge summer 09

hey all. i'm very pumped for this summer! im gonna be working at canyon in the kitchen crew. im scheduled to start may 23rd. i read from a few people that canyon has old dorms and really isnt a happenin place. the dorms i really dont care about, as long as canyon is a good location to be in. is it? and how easy will it be for me to get involved in some fun stuff like horseback riding and rafting? thankss
