Mail in Yellowstone

I was wanting to have my mail forwarded to Yellowstone, but the last letter from DNC said the mail can't be stopped if you forward it there because you can't stop mail from a business address.

Consequently, I was wondering if I need to get a postal box at some location up there, maybe Gardiner since I will be working in the north of the park. Any insight into this situation?

Permalink Reply by ken horner on March 24, 2009 at 8:14am: yes, general delivery works there. If your sending some of your belongings in advance just call the post office and let them know it's coming. they will hold if for you. H.R. can give you the post offices phone #.
there's also a way to get a P.O. box in advance. You have to go to your local post office and get some paperwork for that tho.; ▶ Reply to This
