we arrived in west yellowstone today. tues we will start with dnc at the canyon. we came in the south entrance today from jackson wy
lots of snow,some road issues but not a problem we were pulling a 32 ft travel trailer. saw lots of bison and 1 new baby lots of elk. cant wait to get settled, neither can my dogs !! looking forward to a great summer if it ever gets here lol

Visited the Fishing Bridge General Store yesterday on my day off. Its absolutely gorgeous, and only 2.8 miles from my location. A nice little day hike there and back, hunh? Well, take care, drive safe all you coolworkers. I really am liking this lifestyle! :D

I am in Spearfish/Belle Fourche area... Running a day early, but plan to look into pottery shops in Montana for some new ideas... wishing I could take a pottery workshop this summer.. but it may conflict with work. I need to be in West Yellowstone for checkin on Monday...

I am leaving for YNP on Sat and will be doing orientation and what not on Monday. This is my first time working for the park and was curious if anyone knows what Fishing Bridge is like and what the dorms are like, since that is where I will be working and living.

awesome kelly! you're not the first person who's told me about Wall Drug so now i guess i must stop and see it! I'm kinda glad the whole mt. rushmore thing is going to be quick, there's so much else i want to see around the area! I'm going to be taking tons of picture, and now that we're friends on facebook, i'll post them on there too! I leave on Tuesday... ahhhh!

Jason, The Badlands is so amazing! Gas up before you go in and take your time! It is truly Amazing! Mt Rushmore is cool but it is a quick in and out trip! Make sure you go see the Wall Drug store in Wall South Dakota. It is HILARIOUS! and it is right by the entrance of the Badlands! Have fun and keep me posted! 19 days and counting till my road trip begins ... man, time seems to be at a crawl lately. Guess I am just anxious to get up there and start learning my job for the summer. Also anxious to meet many of you, and have some good times together.
