Smoke visible from active Brimstone Fire in Yellowstone; fire does not pose a threat to park visitors; all roads and services are open

Smoke from the Brimstone Fire in Yellowstone National Park may be visible from Bridge Bay, Lake Village, Fishing Bridge, the East Entrance Road, and communities east of the park. https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/news/082919.htm

Yellowstone implements closures for fisheries work

From September 2-13, 2019, areas of the upper Gibbon River drainage in the central portion of Yellowstone National Park will close for fisheries work. https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/news/19037.htm

New fire detected on eastern shore of Yellowstone Lake; Campsite closed until further notice

The 0.5-acre Brimstone Fire was detected on the afternoon of August 26 east of Yellowstone Lake. Likely caused by lightning, it is burning in a spruce and fir forest. For safety reasons, the Brimstone Bay campsite 5E4 near the Thorofare Trail is closed until further notice. https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/news/082719.htm

Coming summer (24th-28th of June) I'll be visiting Yellowstone. I would appreciate some help in finding a place to stay (up to 175$ room per night) during that time because it seems very hard to find anything. mail to: openstrategy@gmail.com
