LOL Bob- that's one thing I won't be spending on! I am going to try and avoid fast and chain food this summer! Going to try some of the local establishments for sure!

So much to see!

LOL Leo! I have been asking everyone at work that same question. "Is it May yet?" I decieded to count the weeks vs the months. The weeks at this point go down faster. It's 13 weeks from Monday before I leave.

Yes Kirk I understand the hard work for little pay but great outdoor opportunities. I like most everyone else here , I am not take this job for the money but for the experience. It's something I have always wanted to do. For those of us who are not 18-30 anymore, at some point in our lives we can stop doing what we "have" to do and start doing what we "want" to do. Working in Yellowstone is one of my "Want" to do's.

Hey Debra, 2013 will be my second time working in the park. And I'm also over that milestone age !!! The trick to working in YNP, is expecting to work hard for not much money, expecting to work with people younger than you, and expecting the best value of the time spent there, to be away from your room, car, and electronic devises !!!

I have accepted a job at Yellowstone. I will working as a seamstress in the laundry. I need to be there on May 23. I am nervous but excited. Can anyone give me some advice? This is my first seasonal job. Based on someone else's post, I am the older, mid life adventurer so I have no idea what to expect. In real life I have been an RN for 21 years and it is time to get out of that field. Any advice? Anyone else doing this for the first time at 50+ years?
