Some of the roads open tomorrow, April 17 - if the snow stops. I took a run through the Park on opening weekend a year ago and got a little video. Lots of snow, bison calves, bluebirds - it's happening out there.

Hi everyone. I just joined this site. I am soooo stoked to get to work and play in yellowstone this summer. This is my chance to break out of my box and figure life out minus the trappings of city life. Anyone here staying at Mammoth Hot Springs??? I leave SLC in 6 days. I'll be a room attendant at MHS Hotel from April 23-Oct 8.

Will be working at OFI as a waiter starting 5/3. Have not been to YNP since I was bar lead at Grant Village in 2000. Curious to know if anyone I knew then is still there? I was a waiter at the Snow lodge in 1996 and a waiter and bartender at the Inn in 1997-2000. Would love to hear from somebody.

Only 7 for me! I already have everything packed! I just hope my new camera makes it in time! Waited till last minute to order it. Wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in a nicer camera. And then my camera broke. So that's that.
