Hi Leah .... you are definitely catching the tail end of the summer. The teenagers have pretty much left the park .... there may be some foreign kids around until the end of September. Everything in the Lake area closes around October 4. Your first semester of college sounds like a better choice to me ... but do your thing.

I have a question. I Just got Accepted to work in yellowstone. My agreement is still coming in the mail so im not sure what info. it will provide me. But If im starting on September second, will there still be any teenagers around? Are their still activities going on, or am I just hitting the dead of the season.. Im just curious. I live in wisconsin and haven't ever really left. Im pretty nervous about everything and I have a ton of questions... so if anyone could give me advice It will probably help me decide if im going to go try it out, or stay home and start my first semester of college..thanks.

Things are definitely slowing down at Bridge Bay Marina. Families are returning home to get the kiddos into school ... and the newlyweds and nearly deads are arriving (but in smaller numbers). Less than 3 weeks and my employment agreement is up....wow, the summer just flew by.

I checked in at Bozeman this morning and moved my things in my dorm room this afternoon. Met some of my new roomies and co-workers. I'm gonna have a great couple of months!!!

I've been working at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel for a little over a week now in Housekeeping. I started out as a Room Attendant, but they asked me to switch to Houseperson so I'll start that on Monday. I'm having a great time and I'm happy to finally be here. This place is great and there are lots of good-looking girls around so it makes it even better.
