Hi Richard! Thanks for the compliments! I am enjoying a rare internet connection while most of the people are eating at the edr. I'm going to find out when burger day is, and we'll get that worked out for lunch :) Just got back from a Cody trip, and campout. Loving Yellowstone so much. Sarah....the doors lock, depending on the dorm how much security you feel you need. Here at Golden Eye, things are very safe and relaxed, no lockers in the room, but bring a lock in case you get or want a locker. Best wishes all.

For all you Yellowstone employees this summer - have a great time! I worked out there in the first half of the 90's and loved it.

This is my first internet connection since entering the park...my store at Bridge Bay Marina opens tomorrow after four days of setup work. I don't have my off days finalized yet, but tentatively it is sounding like Sundays and Mondays. I met the infamous Carol Wellman last night at the employee pub, and had a delightful first conversation. She is a joy to be around, as is her friend Matt. Hope to see them both again next week. Anyone wanting to hook up with me should just drop by the Fishing Bridge men's dorm after 6pm (and before 11pm)....I am in room #9. I have no internet or cell phone at my dorm so coming by is about the only way to reach me (except at the Marina store during the day).

We lost a couple from the Tower store. His brother in Florida died and they had to pick up and leave. Were driving a big RV, so don't intend to return. We are all working very hard to take up the slack!

This weekend was incredible. Went disk golfing on friday after a 7 mile hike! Went to mammoth on saturday and hiked 6 more miles around Beaver Pond and enjoyes grilled 1/2 pound burgers on a porch at the cabins in Mammoth! Sunday we drove around and to our amazement saw 6 bears! 4 grizzlies, including a cub, and 2 black bears! YNP is the most amazing place on earth!
