This is definitely a very busy season in Yosemite-it's beautiful with the extra amount of water coming over the falls, and the white water river, and the green foliage all around.  What is not beautiful is the traffic/crowds!!  I sure wish that something could be done to avoid the traffic gridlock that occurs everyday!  But working here is mostly a delight.

Hi Amberley, I think DNC is a great company to work for.  What dept/job are you going to be working, and when do you start?   I went last summer last year, and went directly to a dorm-no tent for me, but then, that might be because a lot of the college kids had already left.   The crowds can get insane!  As one man said who was there over the Labor Day weekend, "You come to the National Parks to be close to nature-but this is more like Grand Central Station."  It is a beautiful place to work,  you will just appreciate the quieter days-if there are any!  Cathy

How is DNC to work for at Yosemite. Is this place really crowed and insane with people?  Do all first time employees have to live in a tent?
