Share 'Death Valey and an RV'

If anyone lives or has lived in Death Valley's Furnace Creek Inn/Ranch, specifically in an RV, did you/do you enjoy it? Only concern is what if the a/c goes out in my RV!!? Considering this as an option versus the dorm-style living. Live in Ohio and not sure if it would be more cost-effective to buy an RV once in California, or drive one all the way out there. Anyone know...do people ever sell ...
