Living & Working in Great Places
Cool Works is where you go to GET your jobs. My Coolworks is where you go to TALK about it!
The two websites are complementary and have been linked to help you as the job seeker discuss job opportunities you find on CoolWorks.com, and great places where they are, with other like-minded folks heading out to do the same thing.
All the employers and jobs listed on CoolWorks.com are grouped by location (e.g. States, National Park) or by category (Ski Resorts, Lodges, Camps, and so on). We have a few special categories such as Jobs on Water for raft, fishing, and river guide jobs, cruise ships and other jobs where you'll get to play in the water. Older and Bolder is aimed at the adventurous, retired types. Internships, Volunteer opportunities, and Teen jobs are also included.
Click on the categories that interest you, then click on the employer's links, and that will take you to their Employer Profile.
The Employer Profile is an overview, an 'at-a-glance' look at the property/organization, including important details about location, housing, recreational opportunities and more. You'll also find a listing of all the jobs they have available in any give season. The Profile links to the Employer's website and to their application. Many have online applications, some have applications to print, fill out and mail in, and others just have contact information. You apply to jobs directly through the Employers' Profiles.

Hiring off of resumes doesn't quite cut it -- the seasonal world is
fairly unique: Many of these employers are at the "end of the road"
and so have to provide housing; seasonal operations have just a few
months to pay the bills for the whole year; and there is a lot of
planning and training that goes into staffing up from scratch each
and every year....read
