Hey Alex! Wow I'm in a very similar situation as you! I'll be working in Yellowstone this summer too and start May 30. I'll be in Roosevelt as a dining room server.
I live in San Diego right now and have been working for the Padres the past few months. I'm on the Grounds Crew and take care of the field, but like you, I can't do the city any longer! I'm originally from Montana so I'm ready to be back there. Message me!
Xanterra does have winter jobs in Yellowstone working at Mammoth and Old Faithful.... They usually advertise these jobs in the mid summer, so make sure you let your personnel manager know you are interested and apply... There aren't nearly as many jobs in the winter as there are in the summer, but I met people who were kept on for the winter after their first summer in Yellowstone. There will also be plenty of winter jobs at ski resorts just south of Yellowstone and in Jackson, WY, Utah and Montana as well ok? Feel free to message me any questions ok? Have a blessed weekend!
Welcome to Cool Works! Congrats on getting a job working in the Laundry Department in Gardner, Montana. That is a great location right outside Yellowstone National Park. if you are interested in working the winter season, apply for a job in the Grand Canyon South Rim. It will be easier for you to get in because Xanterra runs areas in both Yellowstone and The Grand Canyon ok? Have a blessed weekend and get ready for a summer adventure of a lifetime as you live, work and play in Yellowstone National Park this summer / fall.
