Bob purchased big Wall Clock, Trash Can, and Computer Speakers for dorm room.
Bob sees change of pace at Denali. everyone is taking it easy from first two weeks in Alaska. seems like the long trip from lower 48 states co workers are beginning to slow down a bit less party night life. back to normal work, play, life. less hi...
Bob is off for three days in row. guess how Chalet manages Stress. John the other EDR Prep Cook is off too for three days in row.

David said… - Bob you wont know the place, its changed drastically, stoplights now and across the street from Princess and the Chalet is a conglonmeratin of shops and stores and the Salmon Bake is about 5 times bigger than the first time I was there in 87. The Old Denali Park Hotel is no more but a couple of the railroad cars are left. We now have stoplights by the hotels, a subway ($10 footlongs)

- Hey Bob, so how did it go for you at the North rim? Did you like it? I started back to college after comming home but I am not impressed and think I may be going back to another park. Yellowstone. I have worked Yellowstone for a long time. I see your in touch with Kim from GCNR. I stay in touch with her through Facebook. If you have an acct there look me up huh. Hope you had a great summer and I hope you have a peacefull and wonderfull Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Toni Bain said… - Nothing beats Alaska in the summer, right? Will you be at the McKinley Lodge? I know that is an Aramark property but there may be others I'm not aware of. I don't know of any places in 'Denali' that have an indoor swiming pool......are they putting you up in Anchorage until the season officially starts? Were you with Aramark before? What did you think of spending the summer in Skagway? I love that place but didn't have to live there....I was there about every other week for just a day or two.
