Thanks for the advice. I get this mental image of waking up and seeing water shooting out from everywhere because the pipes all froze... or of not showering for days...lol. Both are bad images! I looked at the Vornado heaters and they do look like...

I am in Grand Teton right now and living in the employee rv park. It has snowed many times but things to remember:
Bring a little Vornado heater fan so you don't eat up all your propane, have a full propane tank, fill your water holding tank ...
we made it to west yellowstone with no problems the south pass opened there was 8=10 ft drifts along side the road but pretty. we went to the canyon today and saw where we will be living and working. on the way back to west ys we ran across a herd...
Jackie, thanks for the info and I am green with envy! It will probably be next year before I am ready to jump into seasonal work, but the wait is killing me, lol. In fact, I'll probably schedule a vacation there in September just to get my Yellows...

This question is for the RV'ers who report to Yellowstone in April: How do you setup for weather that includes freezing temps and snow like the recent snow falls? Do you hookup to water lines, shower in the dorms, or what? Or do RV'ers not show up...

- I'm a photog nut and tend to be sort of minimalist in nature, at least according to my daughter. Kids are grown and I'll be jumping into the seasonal pool in the next year or two depending on when I finalize my preparations.

- Wow! Winchester, VA; Richmond, VA; Idaho Falls, ID; Atwater, CA are the main spots in the last 10-15 years. I seem to have a limit of 3-4 years before I'm ready to move along.
