tv won't work in the room, no cable to the rooms, it's very remote at denali. most people use their laptop to watch movies or play games. but you won't be spending much time in your room too much to do.

My good friend Alex the Mole who worked at the Chalet will be back! He is a great guy and lots of fun. there is lot of stuff to do at Denali, I know at princess we get great discounts for tours and trips that are offered to the guests like river rafting, glacier flights, etc. If you like to Hike you can keep realy busy.

No, first year employees are in the dorm type rooms without tv's. But there is a new rec room they built last year that has flat screens and a pool table and all kinds of game consoles like PS3 and guitar hero stuff. If you make friends with the chefs they might invite you over to their room to play on their tv's though.

You'll definately want to meet the managers at the Village too, they all came from NCL cruise lines, they know everyone. Look up a guy named Brian, he's F & B manager at the Village resort a few miles away from the Chalet's. He was a matre 'd at NCL Hawaii

That's cool, you'll learn a ton from these guys. Hiroshi is the head Chef of all the properties at the Chalet, if you want info on cruise ship work he's your man, he spent many years as the exec chef for NCL. Also, Mole and the room chef Carl are Madden freaks, it will be fun for you to play with them and learn all they know, they are talented chefs. The restaurant has an open kitchen which is cool, and they have a wood fire pizza oven, which will be fun for you to learn as well. Hand tossed pizzas are great!

I worked at the Nenana last summer, you'll love it there. I'm buddies with the chef's, you'll have fun. What are you doing there? Line cook? Your chef de cuisine is Mole, he's a great guy, one of the best to work for, hope you like madden football!

You can buy a limited amount of liquor acorss the street from an aramark operated Tesoro gas station and about ten miles away there is the Mountain View Store with a decent liquor and wine selection, expected paying about twice what you would in lower 48
