josh said… - hi cala, well, i'm back in vail again working here for the third time so i'd have to say this is my favorite place to work but it's kinda close between here and lake tahoe. i loved it there because we had the lake with all the boating activities and such and lots of snowboarding in the winter. but if you wanna work on a ranch there's a lot of them in colorado. i went to the four eagle ranch yesterday and it was pretty awesome. well, good luck and let me know if you find something.

- Hi! I am Cala Westergard and I am origionally from Charles City, Iowa. Currently I play basketball for the South Dakota State Women's Basketball team in Brookings, South Dakota with a major in park management and a minor in horticulture. I have always loved being outdoors and I grew up surrounded by agriculture and helping my dad with our hardwood tree farm. Since I grew up on a farm and I learned a lot about livestock (horses, cattle, and poultry), chores, and hard work. I am a member of Colligate 4-H and I have been an active 4-H member since I was 9 years old. I learned a lot of new things through 4-H and I have won many awards including the possitive peer award. I am also active in the Horticulture Club on campus and have taken park in a tast of Little International. In my free time I love to be outside, bake, take pictures, fish, and just be with my friends. I consider myself a pretty all-around, outgoing person and I get a long with almost everyone. I love the feeling of accomplishment and I do my best to complete everything to the best of my ability!

- I have lived in Charles City, Iowa since I was born until I moved to College in Brookings, SD in the summer of 2008. I have volunteered for different things at many different levels including, but not limited to: church, painting the high school gym, pulling weeds at an organic farm, helping friends with cattle chores, helping at the Floyd County Fossil and Prairie Park, nursing homes, basketball camps, and picking up garbage. I currently am working for our Conservation Board and Fossil and Prairie Park in Floyd, County Iowa.
