About Me:
I am from Cooper Landing, AK, but I go to school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. I worked at the Kenai Princess Lodge for 4 summers (2005,2006,2007,2008) as a busser, hostess, food runner, and server/cocktail waitress. I love to go backpacking, hiking, climbing, play just about any sports (esp. basketball), explore the wilderness.. pretty much anything to keep active and see something new!

i have not personally been to that park. northern va (where i think that park is) is very pretty. im sure there will be plenty of trails for you. the mountains and scenery is gorgeous especially in the spring when all is blooming and in the fall when the colors change. sorry im not very much of a help in that aspect. im from southern va. in my opinion id stay in the north :)

I definitely have spent some time in the area growing up and going on vacation. Where is the lodge located that u have applied for. Its abeautiful amazing area. I am actually moving farther south in the blue ridge mountains to open an italian restaurant for the company i am working for at the end of the year.

Hi, I was just going through members and saw you were from Cooper Landing... I'll be going there in two days to work at Gwins Lodge... I also lived in Spokane for over four years and know how good Gonzaga is... I was there when they built the new basketball arena... just wanting to get to know a few people that work for cool works.... So tell me what to expect in Cooper Landing....Hope to hear from ya...

Hey I have met you before...actually I am sure that I have...but if you dont remeber me I am the tall guy that lived in cooper for a couple years. That is a great shot from slaughter ridge...I will be up there this summer for a couple weeks hangen out with flash and keith and the rest of the gang...see you then.

Hey Casilyn, there is a Kenai Group on here with a bunch of is that are going to be in cooper landing, a few of us from Gwins and a few that are at Princess as well. You should join it as I am sure the girls that are coming to Princess would have quite a few questions for you. I made it into cooper landing yesterday to a foot of snow! It is amazing here, I can't believe how pretty it is. Oh and welcome to MyCoolWorks as well, it's a great site!
