Our children think it is the best thing we ever did, because they now have a new place to go on vacation every year. We see them all at least once a year. My mother is the one who thought I was crazy.

What kind of advice do you need or want? It think each person has to decide for themselves what is best for them, but I will try to answer your questions.

We are working at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon right now, and absolutely love it. It is cooler than the rest of Arizona because it the elevation, we even had snow on May 12th, 7 inches! You can read my blog at http://fabgrandma.blogspot.com/ I have been writing it for about two years.

In a way that's good, as I hate to leave my home empty all summer. I need to be like Karen and her husband, and just sell everything, and then I could be free as the wind, and do the seasonal work, and not worry about what is happening back home. But I do check out coolworks daily, so I could still end up going somewhere! Cathy
