From what I have seen $7.50 seems to be the minimum wage most employers are paying. When they list the job they will usually state the hourly wage. You may need to email the HR dept and find out pay, benefits and deductions before accepting a job.

The US has a Federal Minimum wage that just went to $7.25 per hour. Some states do pay more than that like California, but California taxes are high also. I know minimum wage is not much, but that is what most of the seasonal employers pay. Winter in Grand Teton & Yellowstone can be severe. Lots of snowmobiling. You may want to look in Arizona or Texas for winter employment.

Try Signal Mountain Lodge in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Should make a very favorable impression on you husband. Beautiful area next to Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Wyoming. A great place to start. I hear Signal Mountain Lodge is a great place to work.
