Going to Skagway Alaska

I am going to Skagway, Alaska this Spring and Summer.  If anyone wants to connect while up there that would be cool.  Good luck to everyone.

It won't be my first time in Alaska. When I was 17 (Geez I can't believe that was over 10 years ago!) I went on an 11 day Alaska cruise, and Skagway was one of our stops. I have always wanted to return to Alaska because it is so beautiful, and I'm very excited to have the chance to experience more of it!

Hi Chris! I'll be in Skagway this summer too! I'm working as a Dock Rep for the Klondike Gold Fields starting April 22nd. Looking forward to meeting lots of new people, hopefully we can connect when we are up there!

Hey Chris!

I am actually living in Hampstead, NC right now so I am definitely familiar with Jacksonville! I'll be in Skagway May 1st. Hopefully I'll see you around!

Hey bud!  I worked for the Montana Conservation Corps in 2009.  It was pretty much a trail crew.  Its an AmeriCorps position, and you only get a stipend which was around $500 something every two weeks.  Not great, but it was the best adventure of a lifetime!  I've walked on trails 3 hours from the nearest town in Wyoming, seen places that most people in the world will never see.  There's something so amazing about walking these trails and seeing things from a whole new perspective!  I know some people from my time out there have moved up to actual full time paid positions (not AmeriCorps) with all different conservation corps.  The hardest work i've ever done in my life, but also the most rewarding!  What are you thinking, and where do you want to work?
