Hey thanks for all the tips! I definitely don't think I'm going to bring too many warm clothes cuz I won't even get there until May 22nd... I'm not super excited about working at a gift shop all summer but the location couldn't be better so who cares? We better have a good crew haha... see ya there!
mm sounds fun. :) soo im taking the shuttle and i guess they are dropping ne off at the denali visitor center... do you know how far that is from the gift shops?
Yesss Hawaii sounds like heaven. I've heard housing is pretty pricey there too unfortunately. But it is Hawaii so I'm sure it's worth it. I recently found a website about a work program in New Zealand, Australia, Canada or France that looks like a pretty sweet deal. We shall see! Have a safe flight to Alaska! And yes! You should definitely come to Maine! It is quite lovely, especially in the fall when the leaves are changing colors :)
Haha sick of that hot sun?? I've never been there... The farthest west I've been is Texas. But I know how you feel, I do not want to return to Maine for the winter! I'd love to go abroad... or maybe work at a ski lodge or something. I don't know I'm hoping to see what some veteran seasonal jobbers have done/reccommend this summer.
Yeah, this is my third "winter" season down here. I'm originally from Wisconsin and have done a ski resort in Idaho. But it is really nice in the desert. Well, except for the major rain that we had about two weeks ago...we were a little flooded.
