Best to call HR and tell the arrival time and what arrangements they will (or will not) make. There is a hostl in the town of Jackson should you need to stay overnight.

Weather is beautiful - sunny and warm during the day, cooler at night. Last summer there was not much rain from mid-June on.
There are websites for local weather info - maybe Jackson Chamber of Commerce.
You are not bothering me at all with your questions! I flew from DC rounttrip last year. You can arrange for transportation to and from the area with the shuttle that goes from Jackson Lake Lodge - check wth HR before you come. My flight going home left at 7 AM and we left Colter on the shuttle at 5 AM - so keep that morning flight - you will be fine. I will be working at the Cabin Office front desk...and you?

I worked in the Teton (Jackson Lake Lodge) just South of Colter Bay for 2 years in 2003/2004. Colter Bay is on Jackson Lake and can get fairly busy. There is a very diverse group of people that work there from all over; I still write several Russians and a Polish gal that I met there. The area is very beautiful. There is a lot of hiking and outdoor stuff to do... and Colter Bay has boating also. Make sure to bring a camera... There is a lot of wildlife including grizzly bears and moose. You will have employee transportation to Jackson (every day) which is about 1 1/2 hours away. In Jackson there are many restaurants, stores (even a Dollar store where you can get things cheap). Jackson has a great July 04 celebration and the town is an awesome place to be. I think you made a decent choice of places to work... the whole area is just plain beautiful and you will have friends from all over.
If you have any more questions, just ask and I will be happy to assist. I will be working just North of you at Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone... peace :)
