Home for Thanksgiving then back to West Yellowstone for the winter. Ya searching for this winter or next summer? I have to find a new job next summer, the ranch is closing down next year.

The west is pretty sweet and will certainly welcome you. I've been in and out of Co. for a number of years and it always feel like I'm coming home when I get back. Anywhere in the Rockies is sure to be nothing short of amazing!

Hi Diana, I'm back in town for awhile, how was your winter?

Hey Diana, The weather dipped into the teens today with about 4-6 inches of snow last night, the high today hit 29. But we have been pretty lucky so far this fall with most days in the 50's. I really felt the cold today as we gathered the herd in to have their shoes removed for the winter. The biggest pain is driving anywhere when the roads are SLICK! I do envy those warm temps back home, but looks like it might be a while before I get see 65 again.
Thats very cool about your heritage, my family had "Uncle Hoarse" as our historian. When he passed away a few years back his wife locked up all the data in a trunk and won't open it for anyone, because it makes her sad.
Well I'm about to move for the winter so I might not be around for a bit til I get internet access, But I look forward to hearing from you soon, T.

If thats you rambling, then keep it coming, lol. Sounds like you should have been born a native american so your beading passion would have a historical significance. Might be tough to find work in that field now-a-days. From what you said, ya might want to think about being somekind of kids counselor, thats were crafts come in handy on a guest ranch. The ranch I work at doesn't currently hire a "Kids Wrangler", but they are really just starting to allow kids to come here and starting a childrens program. Do you like Kids? Have any of your own?

Hi Diana, Thank you for the add. I grew up in Lawrenceville so I feel ya on the traffic, thats part of the reason I'm out here. I used to go to Athens alot just to avoid the traffic in Atl. I'm almost finished here on the ranch but I lucked into a job at a snowmobile shop in West Yellowstone for the winter. Heres a question for you, "You say that your dream job would incorporate your talents on your profile page, what are your talents?

I've only been here one season, and I love it! Its an Eco-Lodge, so there is actually some good coming out of this place, its not just about money. Good luck with the job hunt! What part of ATL are you from?

Profile Information

Hometown:
Atlanta, GA
About Me:
I love to travel but travel for the sake of vacation always leaves me a little empty because there just doesn't ever seem like enough time to really tap into the place that I'm at, to explore it, to get to know the people and this is where Coolworks comes in. It provides me with information on places I'd like to explore, work, get to know the people and above all else, contribute my time and talents. It's a good thing :)
Last Seasonal Job:
I'm just getting into applying for seasonal work so nothing to post yet!
Where have you lived and worked?
I will fill this in later on...just getting started!
Dream Job:
This is a hard one! Something that involves combining my talents, making a difference in the lives of others, and satisfying my love of traveling.
