the laundry is right across the street from the dorms, there is an employee shuttle from the housing area to the lodge and store. also, very well marked trails if you would rather walk.

The employee dining room food smells good when I drive by, but again, I have not eaten there because I live in an RV and cook all my own meals. I work for the Park Service, at the entrance station and the campground. I love it here. The weather is nice, not ever hot, you'll need a sweater or sweatshirt at night.
Will you have a car with you? It is 75 miles to Kanab, the closest town with any stores, and 125 to St. George,Utah or Page, AZ. Both of those have Wal-mart, but St. George is the place that has everthing--mall, movies, Best Buy, etc.
