Amanda, My friends who are in their late 60's jsut got back from Alaska and had a great time. The lady worked in a gift shop and the man did maintenance and financial stuff. They said the room & board was paid for and they got a small hourly wage ...

Hi Esther,
Check out Holland American/Grey Line Tours & Princess Tours. You could learn to drive a bus and be a tour guide. These two companys train you and help you get your commercial license. Then there is the Alaska Railroad and Denali National Park. We just did a cruise to Alaska and really enjoyed Juneau & Skagway. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi Esther, I am assuming you're take awhile and look for a summer opportunity first...that means start applying late Dec/Jan. Instead of server, how would you feel about retail or front desk? There are a few places that have other office work needs too.

I'm on vacation for the next week, so I might not answer right away, but go ahead and ask anything. I'll be playing in Waikiki and Vegas...

I have only lived and worked in the Akron/Cleveland Ohio area. I have traveled to Costa Rica, British Columbia and out West to ski
