Everyone drops a couple hairs every time they shower. Its a fact. If you think a couple hairs are gross as a housekeeper, imagine if you were a guest expecting a perfectly clean room. I worked front desk but helped out with houskeeping on busy day...

hello. if you have a strong work ethic and can deal with some reasonably strong personalities who want things done is specific ways..like chef wants things written certain ways and you have to clean certain surfaces with a specific cleaner before specific events.....then its fantastic. almost unbelievable perks for me. we have had less guest this year so we have less staff and i wound up with a three bedroom house to myself (though i will have to share it soon) and i pay no rent, no utility bills, free laundry room and supplies, free cable and wifi, free three meals a day and i, as the evening waiter, get to eat what the guests eat like fish flown in twice a week from alaska and hawaii and elk, bison, lamb etc. i also get a shift drink. the breakfast waiter gets fresh fruit and homemade pastries in the morning. the job is pretty easy, just specific. you will never have more than 15 or 20 guests in a day and they are more interesting and less douchbag than i thought they would be. im a return staff and get 1850 a month and i clear about 730 every two weeks. i think your shift is scheduled at 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week, but there is usually decent break time, especially if your efficient in your duties. the setting is very pretty too. its in the gallatin national forest and is 40 minutes from yellowstone park. its on a lake, your commute will be less than a minute. you will have a chance to pick the brains of fly fisherman who charge a lot of money. and interesting things happen like when i saw a lion last year, and came across a mother bear and her cubs, and that the chef picks mushrooms and berries in the forest.

any questions ask. good luck in the process, i know there has been a lot of interest in the position. its way way way better than any corporate place.
