Hi Margie

Just an FYI .... I just received an offer from Denali National Park and accepted.  I'll start on April 29 ..... real excited about finally going up there. I hope all is well with you.    Richard

Alaska Wildland Adventures may have an office position in the summer at Cooper Landing in the Kenai.  They usually don't start looking until January.

I'm really looking forward to it.  Have you ever been to Talkeetna, or nearby?  It seems like it will have a really neat, small-town atmosphere, which I love.  (I went to college in a town about 50% larger than Talkeetna.)  And of course I LOVE the mountains...

Sounds fun Margie .... let me know how you enjoy Talkeetna.  It sounds pretty ideal to me, but I've never been there so.....?   I am still hoping for Seward AK next year, but MPL is another real possibility.  We'll see how it plays out. I head for Mesa Verde next Friday ... looking forward to it also.  Ranger Rich

Wow Margie ....Denali, Bryce, Mesa Verde, Acadia .... girl, you're all over the map! :-)  Sounds like the ole shotgun approach :-)  You might get offers from ALL these places .... Hahahahaha.....and only one Margie.  Anyway, good luck and let me know where ya end up.  Ranger Rich

Hi Margie!  I saw your note about Mesa Verde ..... tell me more.  What job did you apply for?   Ranger Rich

Regarding your job hunt .... it would help to call them and see what's up.  It also gets your name on top of the list :-)

Great!  Well enjoy Austin .... keep it weird.  I'll be here for a couple of more weeks and then I head to Colorado for the summer.   I'm a Park Ranger at Mesa Verde.  Maybe we can get together before then.  Ranger Rich
