Welcome Holly...You have found the best site in the world to find an adventure. Lot's of places in Alaska still hiring for the summer. Also lot's of the National Parks and resorts around them. Just Think about where you have always wanted to go and you are sure to be able to find a job there. I leave for Alaska in a few weeks to work at a great little resort right on the Kenai and Russian Rivers! The world is truly at your fingertip's with this site and the main CoolWorks site. You can meet people just like you. Be careful though, you may never want to go back to a "normal" life again! Good luck in your searching. And think about Alaska, there's no place on earth like it.

Cheers

RE: Alaska...Try Girdwood, AK (40) miles South of Anchorage. Great live music, big $$$, wild blueberries everywhere, close to Anchorage yet far away.... It is an awsome place. There is a hostel to crash in until you find a place to live. That is just one spot.... Talkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks, Homer, Cooper Landing.... those places are also very busy. I have to disagree w/ Steve on the mom & pops because I have worked in small places that rocked. Imagine when the staff is bitter because they made less than $200.00 that day... You will meet many people so it is hard to get bored. It is getting late for Alaska though, so the time to apply is asap. Good luck and welcome to Coolworks :0).. akscootr

You have literally landed on the trampoline of a life time. Bouncing from job to job is an experience in it’s self, meeting cool people, adventure, some of the service end jobs can pay off pretty well. During the off season with your saving you can go anywhere places you have dream of. Enjoy the summer season. Where are you thinking of working. Jackson, WY area is very cool, Alaska is another good place. The big resorts are the place to go not the little mom & pop places “BORING” . I had to learn the hard way. Any have fun.
