- hi there. I read your letter and i have worked at the north rim i will answer your questions as best as i can. You will only have a three person room if you are in the newer dorms.old dorms are 2 people in a room. new dorms are bigger,nicer appearance,&much larger bathroom. i lived in older dorms and although they are much smaller and not as new or well kept i liked that they are right near EDR.new dorms are a bit farther & a hotel style the old dorm are a cabin type style. There is no guarentee that your roomates are close in age.HR does try to put people with someone close in age if possible. it is possible to get someone underage but more likely not. they will listen to your considerations but they have your room assignment ready when you arrive so unless it is something important i wouldnt complain until you try it out. town shuttles usually start running in first month most go to page or st george. i did not bring my car and it wasnt a big issue. having a car is just easier to get away whenever you want. you are right to bring your sense of humor. things get crazy and irritating but you learn to laugh at most things instead of pulling out hair. housekeeping is a nice relaxed job. they always look like they are having fun. i am asst. manager in the deli. deli is not really a job people want to get. haha. we dont get treated very nicely by people. hope this helped. feel free to ask me whatever you want. i will be around to answer what i can
