"I also get to cook! I will be staying in an apartment and I love to cook and bake. And I share. :)
I love your enthusiasm. I grew up and lived in the Indianapolis area until I was about your age and was married. I know what you mean about wildlife,…"
I'll be working outside the park. West Yellowstone is a small town on the western border. I originally wanted to work inside the park and had requested the Old Faithful area (my favorite), but realized it wouldn't work for me (I…"
"I'll be in West Yellowstone (jealous of you!) but plan to get into the park for hiking as often as possible, definitely 1-2 X per week.
What level of hiking (strenuous, moderate, easy, length/time) do you hope to do? I'd love to meet…"
"One of the employees who was, I believe, living at Old Faithful (we met on the trail to Lone Star geyser) told me that. Just shows how misinformation is passed around and accepted as fact. Sorry for muddying the waters and thanks for…"
"Congratulations, Alexandra! I'm in the process of trying to get hired at one of the hotels in West Yellowstone, but I talked to several people the last couple of summers while visiting the park about their experiences. I heard that Grant is…"

I haven't actually worked at Yellowstone yet, but am actively pursuing my first season there. Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth. I've been at least a dozen times for visits and look forward to…"

We stayed at Mammoth and I recall neither of us had service at the hotel. We started a bike ride up the old entrance road and about half-way up the hill, texts started coming in…"
I have a friend who brought her two cats to live with her in her RV during the summer last season at the Old Faithful location in Yellowstone. As long as you keep an eye on them and don't let them wonder around outside, you will be…"
Good luck, Joyce. Hope all goes well for you.
Sounds as though with a limited number of Employee RV Parks they want to get as many workers as possible for the amount of RV spaces available--makes complete sense. Have a great…"
Thanks for your note! I have read that pets are not allowed in the dormitories, so it would have to be an RV for anyone who wants to work in the park and bring their pets. I read somewhere that there is a maximum of 2 pets per RV.
I'm an empty-nester adventurer married to the love of my life for 25+ years.
Where have you lived and worked?
I've lived in Flagstaff, AZ for the past 11 years with past lives in Albuquerque, NM and Indiana. I currently split my time between Flagstaff and Enterprise, NV (just outside Las Vegas).
I've recently sold a business and am looking for my next adventure.
