I do not own a home anymore which makes seasonal easier. I followed the jobs on CW for several years before applying. Yellowstone was my first seasonal and I really had a good time there. I stay at my sons in between so that is how it works for me. In 2009 I took a tent and my cat and camped in a lot of the Parks for about 5 months probably would have applied if I hadn't had Maggie with me.
Hey Kathy, I worked at Yellowstone this past summer and had a great time. The Tetons are right next door and they look good to work at too. I'm 61 and from Pa. originally now live in Florida. I also travel alone alot. Good luck in your adventures!
I spent about 2 and a half days in YNP and a day at GT. Went into MT up to Pray to visit a high school buddy--it was only 40 miles N of YNP. I drove all over WY and then CO, NM and TX on my way back to FL. I've decided this is my new adventure--seasonal jobs so I can see it all or at least as much as possibler while I can still take advantage of it.
Hi Kathy, Lord girl, you sure don’t look 57! Where was the picture of you taken? It kind of looks like Glacier N.P. I’m sorry to hear about the situation with your condo. That must be very frustrating. I was born in Florida and spent most of my life there. Retired early in 2005, sold my home when the market was good and moved to Kanab, Utah and six months later to Flagstaff. Hiked myself silly in Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon. Thought I would move to a cooler climate and a place that had water. The Universe guided me to Montana. Montana is definitely cooler (-15 last week) and there is plenty of moisture … in the form of snow. (Be careful what you ask for. :-) So, what is your dream job and destination? Keep the faith. Dreams do come true. Best of luck to you, too. Kriss
