Could I get some comments from folks that have worked for Xantera in the summer and lived in their own private RV. Was the RV site ok not ok or what? Continue

Last summer I visited Yellowstone and found most of the wait service jobs to be held by foreign students working more than one job. This must affect many Coolworks folks employment opportunities. Is that true or false?

I've been told that Delaware NC will hire for a split season because a lot of college kids have to go back to school. I get the impression that they would work until around August 1 and they would be looking for us retired people fron Aug.1 to end of Sept. I haven't worked there before but was out there the month of Sept. 2010. It was an great time to be in the park with fall weather and less crowds. To get your foot in the door you might make yourself available to them on that basis and get your foot in the door. Also, it wouldn't be such a long commitment the first time around. I was hesitant to commit for too long to make sure I could fullfill my commitment which of course would give me a better chance of being rehired next year if I enjoy it. Just my two cents but maybe a different angle.
Keith, Have you applied at Delaware North? I applied at all three and DNC offered me exactly what I was looking for. Are you wanting to work a long season or short one?
Keith, you can find the chat on its own page - http://my.coolworks.com/chat- or on the main page at the bottom. The beeps you hear are when someone enters something into the chat screen. Just type in the open space at the bottom of the chat window and hit enter. Sorry I missed your message earlier. I hope you will join us soon! Q
