- I have come to the realization that the typical American dream of 2.5 kids a house with a white picket fence and the dog does not exist for me. Instead, I have accepted the fact that for the most part I am going to be alone and transient in this world. There is too much to see, too much to do and such little time on this Earth to possibly do it all. But, Hell there is no harm in trying is there! So, I am going to work my way around this world and enjoy my love of people, food, drink, writing and hope that I can find a niche that I can fit myself into and be happy.

it, uh, sounded like a good idea at the time? heh. it sounded... you know, normal. of course, now i realize how very foolish that was.
my most memorable moose-counter started out "hey! moosebutt! eeeh... didn't expect that." it didn't end in a tent, which in some ways is fortunate and in other ways makes your story better. *grin* yours also wins the "photographic proof" category, of course.
"alone and transient" you say? we should start a club. *grin* there could be t-shirts and everything.
Although, you better not think you'll be alone traveling forever... you could always find yourself some vagabonds to join you. Seeing the world doesn't seem like too much when you're alone. : )
