It's about a 4 hour drive from the lodge to the airport, give or take. And I am so excited to go back, but I'm freaking out because I'm actually flying in on Wednesday and I need to repack.

We are really close to a river but it moves to fast to really swim in. But there are some lakes and I think the river is more bareable down near Talkeetna. Motorcoaches go there to and from the lodge all day.
