Laura,
My first day consisted of checking in at Gardiner, going to the personnel manager and being assigned a dorm , moving my things into the dorm, and briefly checking in with Annie at the reservations department. The second day, I was at work. When are you coming? I put the human resources number on the top of the e-mail. Be safe coming up. See you soon.

I am staying in the Terraces . You are a younger person so, I doubt you will be placed there. It is a single gender dorm and many of the people have had many previous life experiences. Which is a nice way to say we are probably 40 + years old. I love the terraces because it is above a restaurant on the main part of the little town. It is across the street from where you will be working and it is above the employee dining room. So far, it is very quiet and everyone is respectful of each persons privacy. It is definitely not the party dorm. So, if you lean more towards a quiet personality, you can request the Terraces. If not, tell them what you like and they really do try to match you to a dorm where you will feel comfortable. Please, send a chat comment if you have any other questions or concerns. I will tell you again. You will Love it!!!!

Laura,

I just processed at Yellowstone. You are going to love it. I saw your question on the blog page. Yes, there are irons along with washers and dryers. MY dorm room has a bed, two sitting chairs, a dresser, a closet, and a side table near the sink. The showers and toilets are down the hall but, they are spotless and have private doors that you can shut when you shower. I have a private computer and the wi-fi is good. Tomorrow will be my first real day at work so I will know more about the work environment later. It looked really laid back as far as dress which is wonderful for me. If you have any other questions I can help you with, just leave a comment.

I will be leaving on Tuesday. For the last week, I have been on a music cruise with a lot of bands from Texas. It was great fun and a good way to transition into the move to Yellowstone. See you soon and keep in touch.

I will arrive March 17th. It will be great fun and it seems as though we are going to a really good department of people. Have you worked in other places before? When is your end date?
