They are used to college student having to go to school; I highly doubt that you turning them down will cause any future problems. Yellowstone will have very poor earnings unless you tend bar, wait tables, or become a cocktail server, so keep that in mind when you do try to work there. Jackson Lake Lodge and Signal mountain lodge in the Tetons just South will provide a good place to work also....

Hi Leah,
I just finished at Old Faithful and by Sept. most of the college students will have headed back to school. If you want to work with youthful people at this time it would probably be best to do a winter seasonal spot like a ski resort or a beach resort in florida or St. Thomas area. There WILL be some younger people at Yellowstone, but nowhere near the quantity you will meet if you were to start earlier like June or May. Good luck.... if you have any more questions feel free to fire away.
