- Hey, I'm Lydia.
I'm a college student from Michigan studying Environmental Policy. As much as I love it here I'm itching to get out and see some other parts of the country (and the world) and I figured working while traveling would be the best way to do some exploring and still have cash to pay for school.
I just got my first coolworks job to work for the summer at Yellowstone National Park and I'm pretty pumped about it! It's something I've always wanted to do :)
- Last Seasonal Job:
- Sales associate at a boutique. The shop was amazing but even with my employee discount I couldn't buy anything because it was so overpriced! Yuck.
- Favorite Seasonal Job:
- For about a year I helped a local fashion designer dream up some bohemian threads and then created them together for her business. I knew nothing about sewing when I started working for her but she trained me and now I can make some of my own clothes. We spent nights working in her studio that was in a warehouse full of artists and engineers, it was really an exciting place to work. We also made a lot of art aside from clothing. She was a big traveler and was one of my biggest personal influences who sort of sparked my wanderlust.
