New employee Basin Harbor Club 2010
4 Replies

I'm currently living on the island of St. John, USVI. I'm working for Basin Harbor Club, Vt starting in June 2010. I need feedback on staff housing?

Do you know where the map on the website is? It's not exact, but close. If you find the main lodge on the map, the dorms would be like the same distance on the other side of the intersection. Across the street from the golf course...kind of like that big sandpit is pointing towards them. It's also vary close to the gym and the Ranger Room is where the breakfast buffet is located.

Now the house where I was staying was on the other side of that "block". Across from the Homestead. Next to the Harbor Store. I could see a small bit of the harbor if I looked a certain direction out my window. There was another large house immediately to our east. I think there was another house or two closer to the laundry area, but I'm not exactly sure where over there.

The cabins are for the supervisors that are there for the full season and they're scattered throughout the property.

if you have a car, and told them, and they already mentioned it to you...I think they have some rooms at a hotel in town.

Hopefully that helps somewhat.

Cool, that's the position I had in 2008. It's busy, which makes the day go by fast. More laid back atmosphere than the main kitchen. Plenty of time to play in the afternoon too.

A social network for those who want to compare and share their work and life experiences in great places.
