I arrive East Glacier May 21st.....would love to get together....am fairly fit - work out 4 -6 days a week now and love hiking and exploring. My Ipod will sometimes accompany me and also my camera which I use a lot.

I've been driving boats for 5 summers at Crater Lake so being a Ranger will take some adjustments. There are 20 or so new Rangers so I won't be the only one. The Park dorms & apts are just south of the St. Mary entrance so there is no commute involved - nice. Since my wife will be here part of the summer I lucked out and got an apartment. I've already found it on Google Earth.

Are you working at the St. Mary Lodge or East Glacier Lodge or elsewhere? I've heard East Glacier is a nice community and the train pulls in there daily.

I was hoping there would be some more Glacier Folks on Coolworks, by now; maybe they'll show up.

I'll try to look you up - I'll the old guy with the bushy mustache who drinks dark beer and sings dirty songs.
