Yes, this is a bit early...but I have found researching future summer jobs is best done during the summer. I've been thinking about heading up to Alaska next year and I really like everything I have seen about MPL. I do have one question, though, and since you're here on myCoolWorks... I was wondering how much weight was placed on the culinary degree/certification for the line cook position. Next year will be my 23rd year cooking, but I have never bothered with certifications other than ServSafe, and although I've attended some classes I have not taken the time to get a culinary degree.

Hi Mindy,
So this is my first blog thing or whatever, I'm so new to this, I never got into myspace or anything. So I'm a little behind, but I love this site, being able to reconnect with returners and connect with the newbies and anwser some of there questions is great. I wish I could have asked someone some questions when I started. Funny story;
I still remember arriving on property and being told to go to the EDR, I said ok, thanks....whats an EDR :)

You know how you can have photos screened on to fabric, that is what I am thinking could be a possibility. Each panel of the quilt could be a photo taken by an employee this summer.

I guess this is what is called living the dream.....I just decided last week (after my phone call to you) that I am going to stay in Park City for at least one year (thru summer and next winter). Oh my God!!! But the thought of staying is actually okay this time. I have a nice place, good friends who will be around and people to climb and mt bike with - which is really all I want this summer. Keep men OUT of the picture for awhile!! I don't care what I do (maybe work for a bakery in the early morning hours) - who knows - right now who cares. I am still working hard at PCMR - lots of guests here to learn to ski and the weather isn't showing signs of spring yet - so I have work. I will keep you informed.

Mindy - Could you do me a favor and put Johnny Marshal and I in a room on the front side of 41 so we can keep our eyes on our cars - thanks.
