What's it like to work inDeath Valley at Furnace Creek??

Posted on March 17, 2009 at 1:58pm 1 Comment

Can somebody tell this no-good has-been what it's like to work at the Furnace Creek Inn?
(besides the fact that there are no paparazzi around to watch me smoke 80 spliffs per day)

Thank You,
Nick N.

It would help to have a car in Custer but usually you can get a ride with someone. The company also takes a van into town every week or so for employees so they can run errands, shop, etc.

It helps to have a car, but some of the other people have cars and you can usually get a ride into Custer or Rapid City. It really is a beautiful place, ans there are usually quite a few single people working there.

Loved Death Valley! The temps. were 120+ when we were there in July....but splashing around in the pool helped cool off....beauty abounds there, in mysterious ways.
Good Luck!

Hey Nick. Death Valley is cool. Its always nice to swim in the middle of winter. There is always employees hooking up. I'm sure you will find someone. They might not be a 10 but well you are in Death Valley.
